First Global Citizen ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information when you visit our website, contact us or use our services, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial laws, including Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
Information We Collect
Contact information (name, email, phone, province or country); details you share about your business, plans and finances; information a registry or government agency requires when you ask us to file on your behalf, such as names and addresses of owners and directors; payment information, processed by our payment providers (we don't store full card numbers); and basic website data such as pages visited and cookies. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
How We Use Your Information
To respond to inquiries and schedule consultations; prepare proposals and deliver the services you request; submit filings you have authorized; invoice and administer your account; improve our website; and meet legal and tax obligations. We send promotional emails only with your consent, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Information Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only as needed: with government registries, agencies and registry agents when you instruct us to file on your behalf; with independent professionals such as lawyers or CPAs, only with your consent; with service providers that host our website, process payments or provide business software, under confidentiality obligations; and where required by law. Our website is hosted by Wix.com, and some providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
Security
We use reasonable physical, organizational and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. We keep personal information only as long as needed for these purposes or as required by law, such as tax record-keeping rules, and then securely delete or anonymize it. Our services are intended for adults and businesses; we do not knowingly collect information from children.
