Project Manager

We are hiring for the position of Project Manager on behalf of our staffing company. As a staffing agency, we will employ and assign you to work with various client companies. The project manager's primary responsibility will be to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role requires excellent organizational skills, leadership capabilities, and working effectively under pressure.

Financial Report

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans and manage project timelines, budget, and resources.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within scope.

  • Monitor and report on project progress, and prepare status reports for stakeholders.

  • Identify and resolve project issues and risks proactively.

  • Manage project changes and ensure that project goals are achieved within the established constraints.

  • Ensure compliance with all company and client policies and legal regulations.

Legal Requirements & Conditions: This position adheres to the Virginia Employment Laws and Regulations as defined under the Virginia Employment Compensation Act (VA Code § 60.2-100) and the Virginia Minimum Wage Act (VA Code § 40.1-28.9 et seq.).

Minimum Wage:

The minimum wage in Virginia, as of January 2024, is $12.00 per hour. This position will offer compensation starting from this base rate, with the possibility of higher pay based on experience and project complexity.

Employee Rights:

  • Overtime Pay: Employees working more than 40 hours per week are entitled to overtime pay at a rate of 1.5 times the regular hourly rate, as per the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) regulations.

  • Meal and Rest Breaks: Employees are entitled to meal and rest breaks as stipulated by Virginia law, ensuring adequate rest and time for meals during their shifts.

  • Travel Requirements: Candidates must be willing and able to travel within the state of Virginia as necessary for project assignments. Travel expenses will be covered as per company policy.

Qualifications:
