Hospitality Service Attendant
A Hospitality Service Attendant is responsible for providing comprehensive support in maintaining the cleanliness and order of guest rooms and common areas, assisting with room preparation, and supporting dining and event services as needed. This role requires flexibility and a commitment to delivering exceptional service in a hotel or restaurant setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Room Cleaning and Maintenance:

Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and disinfecting all surfaces.

Clean and disinfect bathrooms thoroughly, ensuring that all fixtures, mirrors, and surfaces are spotless and hygienic.

Replace linens, towels, and other amenities as required, ensuring that the room is fully stocked and ready for new guests.

Inspect and report any maintenance issues, such as faulty appliances, broken fixtures, or safety hazards, to the appropriate department.

Room Setup and Presentation:

Arrange guest rooms meticulously, making beds with precision, fluffing pillows, and arranging furniture to meet the establishment’s aesthetic standards.

Ensure that all amenities, such as toiletries, coffee supplies, and guest information materials, are neatly presented and restocked as needed.

Prepare rooms for special requests, such as additional beds or specific guest preferences, and ensure all accommodations are made prior to guest arrival.

Dining Services Support:

Assist in the setup of dining areas for meals or events, including arranging tables, chairs, and place settings according to event specifications or meal requirements.

Serve guests promptly and courteously during dining hours, attending to their needs and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of dining areas post-event or meal, including clearing tables, washing dishes, and resetting the area for the next service.

Guest Interaction and Assistance:

Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely and courteous manner, providing accurate information and assistance as needed.

Handle any guest complaints or issues with professionalism, escalating to management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.

Offer recommendations and guidance on local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities, enhancing the guest experience.

Maintaining a Welcoming Atmosphere:

Greet guests with a warm, friendly demeanor, making them feel welcome and valued.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or food service is strongly preferred. Experience in a hotel or resort setting is an added advantage.

Familiarity with the use of cleaning equipment and products, as well as safety and sanitation protocols, is highly desirable.
