Building Maintenance Technician

The General Construction and Building Maintenance Technician performs various construction and maintenance tasks to ensure residential and commercial properties' optimal functionality and safety. This role involves conducting plumbing repairs, painting interiors and exteriors, and executing carpentry tasks, such as constructing or repairing wooden structures.

Air Conditioner Technician

Key responsibilities include:

- Plumbing Repairs: Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including replacing pipes, fixtures, and other components to ensure proper water flow and drainage.

- Painting: Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers. Apply paint and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a high-quality and uniform appearance.

- Carpentry Work: Build, repair, and maintain wooden structures such as frames, partitions, doors, and windows. Perform tasks like measuring, cutting, and assembling materials to exact specifications.

- System Inspection and Troubleshooting: Conduct routine inspections of building systems and infrastructure, identify issues, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.

- Fixture Replacement: Install and replace various fixtures, including lighting, faucets, and hardware, to maintain the building's functionality and appearance.

- Building Infrastructure Maintenance: Ensure the overall upkeep and functionality of building infrastructure, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, and other structural components.

- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for employees and occupants.

- Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as required, including handling routine repairs, landscaping, and emergency maintenance.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in general construction, maintenance, or a related field.

- Proficiency in plumbing, painting, carpentry, and general repair techniques.

- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30,860.00 per year
