Home Health Aide
The Home Health Aide is responsible for providing high-quality personal care and support services to individuals in their homes, ensuring they maintain their independence and quality of life. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders under the supervision of a healthcare professional.

Personal Care Assistance:

Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene needs.

Support clients with mobility and physical activities, such as walking, transferring, and using assistive devices.

Health-Related Services:

Monitor vital signs, such as pulse, temperature, and respiration, and report any changes in the client’s condition to the supervising nurse.

Assist with simple prescribed exercises and medication reminders as per state regulations.

Household Tasks:

Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation according to clients’ dietary needs.

Organize and schedule client appointments and provide transportation to medical facilities or community activities.

Emotional Support:

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.

Encourage clients to maintain their social networks and participate in community events.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of the services provided, including daily activities, observations, and any changes in the client's condition.

Communicate effectively with the care team and family members regarding the client’s progress and needs.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification preferred.

Previous experience in home care or a similar role is an asset.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and transferring clients.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $24,630.00 per year
